Beautiful garden center, gift shops, seasonal decor, etc etc. Love to bring our German Shepherds to smell the flowers. Employees go out of the way to help and everything is arranged beautiful. We ate at Sage Kitchen Cafe which is inside the garden center, delicious food and friendly staff....plus pet friendly. There is an outdoor seating area when weather permits. Well with a visit!

Should I share this fabulous newly renovated cafe? It’s a plant nursery, unique, cafe, fashionable boutique, and coffee, cafe all in one and the food here is Delicious along with the choices.. What a better place to sit and have a lunch then here in a beautiful garden cafe setting, plant boxes over head flowing with plants and windows to see even more blooming flowers. My sister and I tried many delicious items!

Omg how did I ever not know about this place because it's been in business for decades. The Sage Kitchen has amazing food I had the Maha Salmon Wrap with Chipotle Mayo with the Bean Salad they both was was sooo delicious . I also had their homade lemonade which is sweetened by natural agave. Which was also amazing. The environment is freindly the servers were awesome. I'm telling you this place is a gem. If you or your family is looking for some great food with a good atmosphere this place should be on your go to list. I highly recommend this place!

I love this place! Food is hot and fresh, which makes you kinda forget about how long the food takes to get to you. I ordered the Baja Bowl and requested that the cheese be removed (vegan). It was so delicious that I was almost finished before I realized I had not captured the culinary masterpiece. The presentation of the meal is very enticing. Whatever the seasoning and sauce used in the baja bowl, they can give me more! OH EM GEE!!!

I went there this past weekend for a mother-daughter‘s Day. I love the atmosphere. We sat outside. It was so beautiful. The food was AMAZING and they give you huge portions. Customer service is amazing one lady in particular (Tyler was her name I believe) Who wasn’t even our server assisted us with anything that we needed. The kitchen had messed up on one of the burgers, and she handled it with such grace. She offered us a free ice cream to compensate for their mistake. Her customer service skills was top-tier!! She was very kind patient and understanding. She made the visit there a great experience!! So would I recommend Sage kitchen? 100% 10 out of 10 definitely recommend. This is also a great event space

I’ve had this place on my list for a while to come try and finally got around to it. I was greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and welcoming staff. The menu is simple but with variety. I went with one of the limited time entrees which was an amazing crispy pork belly sandwich. I paired it with some Mac n Cheese bites which were just as amazing. Generally when I get those at restaurants they are very underwhelming because the Mac is flavorless. Well not with these...they were large and packed with flavor. I had a lemon bar for dessert to wrap it all up and needed a wheel barrel to roll me out of the place. I’ll be returning to try some of the permanent menu items especially the chicken salad.

My fiance and I blindly walked in hungry after a date to the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News and we were so pleasantly surprised at how delicious this was. I got the chicken quesadillas and he got the tuna tacos. He said they were the best he has ever eaten. Highly recommend.
